Hey Guys
I am a March applicant. Received AOR on 18th April. I sent my application without PCC India for my spouse, now I have obtained it. For this purpose yesterday (23rd April) I wrote to CPP-OTTAWA (just as a precautionary) enquiring if I should send them my document to be added to my file (since this is what CIC website suggests). Today I got an e-mail back from CPP-OTTAWA that my file is still with CIO-Sydney and I should contact them as to where I should send the PCC. Wrote an e-mail to CIO-Sydney, got an automated reply that they will contact me within 20 days.

Anyone has similar experience, please share. Can't afford to send original PCC to a wrong address or juggling between two offices... ???
Thanks

I would wait until they confirm when your application reaches Ottawa.

This is what I am going to do. However, would like to know how many days files take to get transferred to Ottawa, if such info is available.

No such info is available. I would wait maximum of 2months from date of AOR. I do not think CIO will keep documents beyond that.

I think the problem is that Sydney has started to process some of the files, while others are being sent to Ottawa. I face a similar situation. I want to send my PCC, but I am receiving no response from Ottawa. I asked the CIC call centre and they told me to email Sydney.

I have a theory, but I'm not sure if it's true. I think that all the applications that are "in process" are being processed in Sydney and are ahead of the queue. That's why we have already had a rejection for a Feb applicant. All the applications that say "application received" have gone to Ottawa and are now in queue. Again, just a theory.

My ECAS status says "Application received", but CPP-O says my file is still in Sydney.
I thought the other way around: People whose status is "in process" are sent to Ottawa and processing started.
don't know what really is going... ???

Maybe your file hasn't reached Ottawa yet. I know that the person who was rejected was sent the rejection from Sydney. Again, I'm also trying to find out where my file is.

Hi spookyb
yes that is it. File still at Sydney, got a reply from CPP-O saying this. Have you written to CPP-O?
I am going to wait for a week and write to CPP-OTTAWA and CIO-SYDNEY both.
If you get any update, let me know
Thanks

I've emailed both but haven't received a definitive reply yet. I'll let you know when I do.

Because I can't seem to login. :(

I'm going to track --> UCI "0000-0000", surname, DOB and birth place.

It can take a couple of weeks after the AOR to show up on the system.
