Hi everyone,

I'm waiting for the positive confirmation of LMIA and I waned to know whats next:
1. The employer will process the files for a work permit?
2. Can I move to Canada with only the LMIA or that work permit obtained in point 1?
3. If I can move to Canada, is it necessary to have the medical exam, proof of funds and the police certificate? or all of that can be done in Canada?
4. With this work permit I can update my express entry profile and "run along" with it until I'll receive the ITA? doing so I can update it constantly with job experience in Canada which will increase the CRS score - correct?

1. Normally you would apply for the work permit (not your employer).
2. You can only move to Canada once the work permit is approved.
3. It's possible you may need to get a medical and PCCs to get the work permit approved.
4. Simply having an approved LMIA won't necessarily increase your CRS points. There are other requirements you need to meet in order to get job offer points to increase your CRS. I would recommend you join the Express Entry section of the forum.

Thanks @scylla for the answers.

Can you advice if is ok to move to Canada as a visitor visa and accommodate until my work permit is completed? Can I fill the files from Canada or I need to get out and get back through the borders to change my status from visitor to work permit visa.
Side note: I'll be having with me the police certificate, proof of funds and medical exams

I personally wouldn't do that. I would apply from your home country and remain in your home country until a decision on the work permit is made. Coming to Canada as a tourist increases the chances of a work permit refusal. Work permits are sometimes refused if the application has weak ties to their home country and it looks like they have plans on remaining in Canada long term. If you're already in Canada as a visitor, you'll be increasing your chances of a refusal due to lack of ties.

Much appreciated @scylla. Thanks again!
