I have a question about the two photos they request within the PPR letter:

ONE PHOTO MUST:
bear the name and complete address of the photo studio and the date the photo was taken must be included on the back of one photo. The photographer may use a stamp or handwrite this information. Stick-on labels are unacceptable.

1. Do they need three photos in total?
2. Do all photos need to have dates embedded on the back?
3. Am I overthinking here? lol, I am a little stressed and don't want any more delays.

Take 4 of the same photos to the VAC just in case you go through some trouble. Do what the ppr letter says for one photo. I'm saying this because they didn't accept the 2 photos from my brother-in-law when he went to ISL VAC to submit the pp, even though my wife and folks made the photos exactly how the ppr letter stated. They told him they wanted my wife's name and either her UCI # or file # on the back (I forgot which one). Luckily my wife gave him 2 extra photos to take with him, and so he used those to do what the people in the VAC requested, and then fortunately they accepted it.

It's so foolish of them how they tell us to do one thing but then make us do something completely different. Ya Allah, you know what to do to these horrible people who cause us so much trouble for no reason!

salaam dear brother denize88 asifi and dear sister hope- 123 thank you for good wishes Actullay it's not over yet coz they don't ask for the original pp they asked for copies to see is it extanded or not, coz her pp was expired in the files and I knew it many many times I requested my mp and my Lawyer to send the renewed which is till end of 2016 but they don't let me do it and they said oh it's ok dont worry this and that but i was right , anyways i met my Lawyer today and we decided to sent the copies of all page of pp by email and by mail as well hopefully one of it ll land In right time and in right place , but hey guys i am back again in squer 1 lol honestly guys getting ppr has a defferent typ of joy and happiness lol coz I felt it for like one day and when I realized it is not original ppr I got so mad lol anyways guys ,thank you again for the good wishes agar khodawand khowasta basha I ll be back with original ppr bakhier inshallah

I just had a question and you have good experience. When my wife comes to Canada inshallah, do you know which route is the best and easiest for her with minimal hassle, where she doesn't need like a transit visa and stuff? I heard going through UK is good.

but when i go online @ (https://services3.cic.gc.ca/ecas/security.do ) i can't see much info there can someone help me out with this. appreciate in advance.

I think the best way is to book all the tickets connected so she wouldn't need to go through customs. It really doesn't matter which country as long as she won't need to go through customs.

I personally prefer Kabul to Dubai, then any other place is okay as long as she won't need to get out of the airport. Which city do you live in btw?

Based on that she can either enter to Montreal/Toronto ( don't know what other airports are considered international because she will be going through immigration process only in those airports if I am not wrong).
My husband's route was from Kabul > Dubai > Istanbul > Montreal > Calgary. Everything went well except he missed his flight from Montreal to Calgary because he had very short layover (2 hours), I would suggest to have longer layovers even though no one likes it but it is always better in case one flight is late or if it takes time for any reason. I hope this helps

it shows it there on that link after you login.

It will either say Application Received, In Process, Decision Made, Complete, etc.

Then you click on it and it will show the Application received date, if there was any other updates it will show like In Process, or if a Decision has been made. I hope this helps

when i go online there are three columns:
1. Sponsored person Sponsorship application status P.R Application Status
NAME......... Decision made Application Received

and then under each one there are couple of more infos, is it how it supposed to be?
