Salam,

If it says "Item out for delivery " it means the delivery has not completed yet but it's in the process, when delivery is completed it should say Delivered and shows the time and date.
yes that's right it means ur package is on its way and when it's reached it's destination than its say delivered and sign by someone's name

Hi, COngrats,

I also do not have address there.
I am trying to find other options.
Apparently it is not possible to go to the embassy office itself.
Some say since you send your passport through courier then put the courier office address and have them call you when they receive your package back.
not sure help anyone?!?!?

Congratulations, I shall ah Eid bahama ye ma Khoshi Myara

Salams to everybody and Eid Mubarak to everybody.

I have a question on behalf of my cousin. He is a July 2013 applicant and he just got his "notes" last week. On the first page under sponsorship length: it states 36 months. I told him it might be a standard thing since at that time Islamabad was around around 32 months processing time.

Is that the right assumption?

Oh btw in the notes nothing really important just some back forth of files being transferred from CIC in mississauga and Islamabad. There is nothing about anything of relevance.

And congrats to all the members who are one step closer and may Allah unite all of us with our loved ones and everybody whose families are separated. Ameen

Wror, the 36 months undertaking is the length of time that the sponsor has to financially support the applicant for. If Khuda Nakhasta they separate after 2 years, the husband has to support the wife for another year.

Salam Aliakum,

My sister's husband is in Kabul and she just received an email after long time from CIC, that her husband has an interview on end of September at New Delhi, if anyone had an interview please let me know what kind of questions they ask. Also do you guys think it's a good idea for her to go to India as well and go with her husband for the interview. Please gave us some suggestions. Thank you very much.

^ Below are types of questions one of the members was asked in NDVO. Btw, were there any redflags in your sister's case? Was it a Nikah only case? When did she apply? Hope you don't mind me asking these questions

here are some info regarding type of question they will ask and their thought process so far that I have experienced, first part is establishing identity of both parties they will ask about name , DOB, work place, how long you have worked, where you live to establish the basics for next stage.

Second part is details of your ongoing relationship , dates like wedding date, engagement date, where? when? how many people were invited
? pictures? receipt of expenses, how your met? love or arrange? why you decide to get married? why now ? what plan you have once you get to Canada? do you own property or rent ? and so on and so fort to get as much info out of you timely wise.

Third part is cross examination: all the answer provided in second part will be asked from the other person depends which one they call first, sponsor or applicant, they will examine all answers if all correct and make sense to them you are approved if not you are refused and based on what I saw the officer conducting the interview has the final say on your case as for us when she introduce her self she said I am the eligibility officer and I will determine your application eligibility and finalize your application.

Respected Afghan friends and forum members I wish all of you the best and hope good news shower come towards all of you bakhair soon.

Regards,

CVimmm

Thanks so much for reply, no I don't mind at all and I am not sure why they ask for interview but she applied in October 2012 and it was nikkah case and since that time she has also visited her husband 2 times.
