No brother our dependents file was transferred once the principle applicant got AIP. Dont worry ask your Mp to do an inquiry

It is completely normal for dependents to start processing only after primary application gets approval. They may be now allowing processing after AIP not PR for primary applicant to process applications faster.

This is not unusual. Unfortunately some people do try to sponsor family members or friends as spouses. There can also be relationship breakdowns which would mean that the spouse/ex-spouse would no longer qualify to be sponsored but the family doesn’t inform IRCC. There is also straight out immigration fraud where someone who is unmarried sponsors a spouse even if they aren’t actually married or in a relationship. Having to provide proof of a relationship over a long period of time is one of the ways IRCC tries to identify whether spouses are truly in a relationship and married.

Hi All,

For afghan questionnaire form it asks for file number, does it mean the application number for overseas spouse ? Secondly since the document is directed to spouse to fill afghan questionnaire form for all depandant children too would it be the same file number as her or use individual UCI for everyone that were mentioned on biometric letters?
