Affordable College and how much funds

hi, I want to apply for a 1 year certificate program in an affordable college. Which college?
Can I get recommendations? I do have savings but I don’t know if it’s enough. $22000 CAD
I’ll be going to Canada with my husband and three children. We’ll b staying in a relatives house whom is going to prove that we have one year accommodation with them. My plan is to stay and eventually live permanently. ( I chose a one year program because I am 34 years old and don’t want to lose any more time) Do I have chances in getting a study permit?
Can I get advice as to what to do?

22000 is not enough. You would need to prove you have atleast 20000 a year (GIC if the changes for April 1 pushes through) for living expenses for yourself alone and also prove that you have enough to pay for 1 year’s tuition fee which will be about 15000 for an international student. Add to that the 1 year living expenses for each of your family members, which you must again prove you have available.

GIC and tuition fee amounts to 30k CAD for an individual to study 1 year certificate. You should prove that you have sufficient for all family member.

But if are acommodation is already fixed for an entire year ( we’ll be staying in a relative’s house, they will state this in a letter) Also with my 20 h work and my husbands 40h doesn’t that balance the costs?

GIC amount is non-negotiable. At this time, it is at 10000 but there have been reports that it will be 20000 by April.

Even if your relative says they will house you, there is nothing legally stopping them from rescinding the offer.

Yours and your husband’s jobs are hypothetical and cannot be counted as part of your income when you apply.

Unfortunately you cannot use 20 hours a week as funds, as you have not got a job yet. Stating you are staying rent free may help, but again not reliable.

What exactly is the plan to "stay and eventually live permanently". A one year PGWP will be insufficient to reliably qualify for CEC. One of the things that you will need to demonstrate to IRCC’s satisfaction are strong ties with your home country and the intention to leave Canada at the end of your temporary stay. It's also quite possible that while you may obtain a visa, your family do not. Allow contingency for this.

Family members of international students are not guaranteed visas/permits. Given your financial situation would think getting visas and permits for your family members will be difficult. With children you also have to plan for childcare cost even if the children are in school because school ends mid-day.

Given your previous PR status and your application with your whole family, you may fin it difficult to prove you are a genuine student. You'll have to make sure your choice of degree and your return to school makes sense based on your previous education and work. Also the new degree must lead to more career opportunities.
