Hi everyone
Im june inland applicant.my wife is not working at this time and she sponsored me gamily class.
Last week I received a letter says
In order to process we need proof of income.
As i have not received my owp yet so cant work
So im going to send affidavits from notery public that my sister and brother in law are supporting me and will continue to support with there notice of assessment.
Please let me know if this is good idea.
Im on visitor status waiting for owp.

Yes - you can certainly try that. If you were working before you came to Canada, then I would recommend that you also provide proof of your employment from outside of Canada (e.g. tax returns, pay slips).

Thank you so much as im already in canada about 4 years and i was student lest three years so i was working only part time and i sent my assessment with application that time.
I think this affidavits will be fine as they knows i dont have work permit so they just wanna make sure i dont go for social assistance after

They do usually expect the Canadian spouse to be in some form of employment. You are in the lucky position to have Canadian experience but it still could take time to get a job. Given that they already have your financial information they are definitely looking for morr income. Your brother and sister will have to provide their financial information to show they have the extra funds to support you.

I would get your siblings in law to attach a few months of bank reports. $8000 is not a lot of money if they are your financial supporters. With a housing or car expense their savings could be considerablt decreased. I guess CIC will ask if they need more financial guaratees.
