Hello Everyone,
Can somebody please guide me on the acceptable format for submitting an affidavit for Job Roles and Responsibilities for the Canada Visa. Also the process of getting one made in the US.

I am currently in the process of applying. I do not want to jeopardize my current employment hence I want to submit an affidavit.

I am thinking of submitting the below documents as proof:
- A notarized affidavit giving details of employment along with roles and responsibilities.
- My original offer letter
- A letter from my employer confirming employment and salary ( I had requested one for my parents visa)
- Salary slips for last 3 months.

If somebody done this or has any knowledge of this process please guide me.

Thank You.

Job Offer........
Pre-Assessed..
Self-declared duties/responsibilities are not recommended unless you have no other way out.

Ask yourself first whether your current position has any relevancy in your CRS/eligibility. Then figure out whether any colleague/supervisor can provide a letter in plain paper and proof that they work at such company.

Hi DelPiero,
I do have a letter that can confirm employment and salary, which I intend to attach. The affidavit is just for the Roles and Responsibilities part since I don't have that. I don't wish to jeopardize my current employment until the Canada option is concrete hence this route.
Are there any other documents that I can attach to strengthen my case. I will give an explanation letter as well.

Like I mentioned before, what you're doing is not a recommended approach. If you're willing to take the risk then go for it.

Hello DelPiero,

The Company is not providing Roles and Responsibility on the letter head, and I figuree out that colleague can provide a letter in plain paper and proof that they work at such company.

I have a few questions as well -
• Letters from colleagues must be notarized -->
Should I notarize this letter? If yes, where should I notarize, in Canada or India? Why I am asking this is the supervisor (the person giving me the letter) is in Canada and I am in India.

Hi I used to work with Kingfisher Airlines and since the company shut down I won't be able to get a reference letter. What do you recommend?

Hi @DelPiero07 , I am in similar situation right now. I could get a letter from a colleague or my manager on a plain paper. But, both of them have left the organization and are working for different companies.

However, they were working in my organization while I was working there.

So in this case, what could be done?
