Affidavit of support for Spouse Immigration ?

HI, my wife would sponsor me for Canadian Immigration. She is currently studying in Canada and has PR. She is not working but living with parents. So in a form, it says how do you plan to give basic needs to your spouse?
How she should answer in the form? Does she have to provide affidavit of support from her father? If yes, what should her father write, can anyone give me a sample/ Template of a letter ?
