Affidavit for name discrepancy

Hi All,

I need your valuable advice for WES application.

In my educational degree there is a slight name discrepancy in my surname.

Can someone provide me the format of affidavit which i can get issued from notary stating the mistake?
Also is this thing allowed by WES?

Because changing the name in degree will take around 3 months as per university

Please help guys

how long and how many times you will submit affidavits first you should fix it ..........and if you are from Pakistan HEC will not accept it for verification if there is difference between your name on NIC and degree...........

Right now my university has given me the attested marksheets and degree...i have sent those to WES along with a notary affidavit...lets see what they say..
Also i have asked the university to issue me a duplicate degree with correct name...it will be issued by august end as per them.

I am facing the same problem. My first name has become as my last name in degree and I never took it seriously. Can you please the affidavit type and how to apply to WES along with the affidavit ?

just go to any notary..they have the format with them..i went there and he typed something like my correct name is so n so and the name in degree is spelt like x n x...in case of any issue i will be solely responsible etc..they know the format...

just put that affidavit along with a copy of all your degree certificates and post it to WES..
