Dear All

i want to apply for canada P.R. and i have meet one consultant istaa.ca for that.
now because of some point shortage i need to apply with AEO.

and they are ready to help me . now after i got HRSDC than i reach to around 81 point.
i m a single and some one told me that there is a rare chance for single to get p.r.

so i m in bit confusion.

if i score the 81 point with HRSDC than which r the grey area where there will be a chance of rejection of my application.

i m s/w engineer and recently i have competed MBA . i have work exp around 4 years and now i m working as a lecturer in govt of india.

appreciate your suggestion.

I would recommed you to read CIC website /HRSDC website and at least understnad the process. Consultants, sometimes rip off the clients with lack of knowledge. Being single is not an issue.
If you are MBA and have 4 years expereince, you might check if you can apply under FSW1 too.
(AEO is FSW2

The consultant might try to make business interest by arranging your job and make more process (for better profit than going straight to FSW application...just a guess), who knows.

If you meet the minimum requirement then being Single or couple will not matter at all until you meet the minimum points. If you have an AEO then apply, if everything is intact, you will also be issued PR.

Also as suggested by other members, see if your work experience matches the 38 ministerial list under category FSW-1 then apply under that and by yourself.

Of course being single has nothing to do with rejection. ;)
