Hi All,

I have been a silent observer at this forum for sometime now and I am very thankful to you guys for providing me the information and motivation for applying to Canada.

So finally, me and my spouse attempted our first IELTS on 30th June and got the results today. Below is our profile:

1) Myself
Age:28
Degree: Bachelors in Engineering
IELTS: LRWS 8.5, 8, 7, 7.5
Work Experience: 5 years in total (2 years 10 months in Production/Operations and 2 years 4 months in HR)
Expected CRS: 442 (assuming I can claim 3 years exp)

2) Spouse:
Age: 28
Degree: a) Bachelor of Dental Surgery b) Masters in Public Health
Work Experience: 2.5 years in total in various NOCs
Expected CRS: 457 (Claiming 1 year experience)

Below is my question:

For the international experience points in CRS, should I have 3 years of experience in one specific NOC to get maximum points or is it total 3 years of international experience in total with multiple NOCs? Because in my case I do not have 3 years of experience in either of the NOCs.

I understand that making my spouse the primary applicant will yield us more points, but for her case, getting experience letter is bit of an issue so I also want to explore the possibility of becoming the primary applicant myself.

Once again, thank you for sharing your knowledge and providing the support.

Regards,

You can claim 3 years of experience. Its total experience always.
CRS 442 is pretty good. You will get ITA in next round, please create your EE profile asap.
