I have a question to ask though

I'm traveling to Ankara on another matter in a few days, but I'm not staying long. How long do you think it'll take to stamp the passports?

About a week to 10 business days. Do email the Ankara visa office to clarify.

Your wife must give you an authorization letter allowing you to take her passport out of Iran + allowing you to submit her passport to the Ankara VAC on her behalf + she must sign the VAC consent form

Is it a good idea to go to the embassy myself and wait for the stamp?

You cannot visit/enter a visa office.

or do you think it's better to give passports to an agency to do it after I return from Ankara?

You have 30 days after receiving the passport submission request to submit your passports. You will need to work out your travel to Ankara accordingly

Either me or my representative should go there and give them the passports.

Will an officer examine my application again at the VAC? Why would stamping takes this long if they are just going to put a visa on the pass? That takes like 10 minutes

No. The visa officer does not work in the VAC

Your application/visa stamping is not their only priority

Somehow it got into my head that they may still reject my application after receiving my passport.
On my cic account it says that "Your application was approved".
But is it possible that they still reject someone after approval and requesting for passport?

Does this mean the stamping is over and my passport is ready for pickup?

Congrats. It's done. Your TRV is valid until March 2021

You'll need to check if your passports have been returned to the VAC
