Hello there . Just quick question . As far as I know iam in criminality check now . And I know that my medical has expired 5 months ago . My question is . Can I do thr medical now and send it to them in order to save sometime or do I have to wait till they ask me for it ..? Please any information regarding this would be appreciated .. ..

As your medical has already expired you can re-do the medical.

Fadi pal, No, they will not. As you are aware, the validity of the medical is correlated with the validity period of your visa when it is issued. In such case if the medical has expired, your visa office will request you for a re medical when the positive decision is made. In order to save time you can re-do the medical before the request comes. But if you are prepared to wait for the medical request from your visa office, that would be fine. Otherwise proceed with medical. The decision is yours.

Thanks a lot Wilson so I would just go a head and do it and what do you recommend to write along with the new medical ..? Like a letter but what I say in it ? I mean you look like u have a better way of telling about this issue . . Thanks a gain

The DMP has to send the medical to CIC. Therefore you don't have to write anything along with he MR. However, you can send a letter to your visa office that you have done the medical again because the previous one already expired 5 months before. They understand and no need to explain much.

Well I have a different case I didnot apply through Cairo office I applied through a lawyer in Canada and it's required a medical to file ur application to missiqua . So I did it and after I got the approval from them
They sent my file to Cairo since iam a plestinian living in the USA .. So since I did it on the first time on january/05/2011 till now I didnot hear anything . My file been in Cairo office for 12 month so far and I figured my medical expired alrready since it's been 17 months .. So I'm going to do it and send it again . Just in case they ask for it later . This way I save some times .

The advice I got was not to re-do the medical because the visa office might specify only certain tests to redo.. everybody told me to wait until they requested it.

Can do it and some people said not to do it . I have a mother guy tld me not to do it . So whom I have to fellow . Just wanted to save some time . Got tired of waiting
