DO not apply since your score is below 67. applying without reaching 67 points means complete rejection.
if you really wanna apply now then get married to someone who had completed either diploma or Bachelor degree so that you can get extra 4 points from your spouse.

Thank you Dr.Hasib for your reply. In my opinion, I think it would be much easier to learn french or get 1 year more experience than marrying someone these days

I think it's 100% true, but it depends on many things. There is a huge difference between a doctor who studied Medicine in English or their home language. Another thing, the licensing exams some people are taking them in a year and others are studying for 4-5 years. I've already done the MCCEE which is the first part. But it's true that you have to work hard to get a position there. Last year in Vancouver 260 Doctors applied for residency positions 29 were accepted!! It's a true competition.

That way you will get the additional 4-5 points for your spouse.... !!

Probably more than 4! it has not been communicated what the official changes might have in terms of experience points.. At Current, 1yr = 15pts; 2yrs = 17 .... 4 yrs = 21 pts .. Based on my assumptions, the new rules (possibly in effect from June-11) will be 1yr= 9 pts; 2yrs= 11pts ... 4 yrs= 15pts. Hence its the same story for you my friend i.e. 66 pts (do the math). French might be the only option if you're not in favor of waiting an year or so ..

& its their FSW list, they can revise it when the need may arise.

Any idea when these changes will apply? From my understanding to the things you've say I will lose 4 points regarding my experience and earn 2 points for age and 4 points for langauge, please correct me if I'm wrong. I'm afraid that Medicine won't be in the 28 Skilled worker categories next year, is it possible?

Another question. I was in Canada couple of months ago and I actually left my bank account there open with the funds available for Immigration. Does that help with the Immigration process?

Exactly the points are my nightmare

I would prefer to get my points by learning french rather than getting married

Thank you for the explanation so I'm back to square one with 66 points. I think I'll go with French language, it's my only option.
