Hi

Can someone out there advice me please!

Québec interview done: 11/11/2008

File in process: 13/01/2009 as it says online status check

On 31/12/2009 Damascus visa section asked me to submit the following

- new police certificate

- current personal status

These submitted already. My question is it really taking that long to issue the visa? What will happen next? Am I going to wait for another year or they will ask me to go for medical check in a short of time?
what shall I do?

Any advice will be very much appreciated.

i wonder what happened after u submitted the police certificate and status???? did they ask u to go through med exam or what?
i would love to get an answer from u asap.

The police certificate must be less than 3 months old , maybe yours did not meet these requirements. Whatever the reason, just send a new one.

- current personal status

These submitted already. My question is it really taking that long to issue the visa? What will happen next? Am I going to wait for another year or they will ask me to go for medical check in a short of time?

I applied in Jan2009 and got AOR in FEB 2009. Submitted full application in May 2009. "In Process" June 2009. Received CIC letter to submit IELTS score Sep 2009. Submitted results Nov 2009. Still showing "In Process". To my enquiry got reply "application awaiting Officer Review". What does this mea? It is now one year since initial application. Please advise. CIC London. FSW cat 4121.

U hijacked Jordan's thread... However, to your query I suggest plz hold-on a bit more. I expect soon your meds will come thru. Hopefully by this month itself, or early Feb 2010. The delay was in your submission of the IELTS.

It is a week since it was arrived Damascus visa office. Nothing new everything still the same.

Am still hoping for an advice from a senior member of this form.

Any experience please ?

Thanx a lot for ur reply, i'll b waiting for an answer from the seniors too and please notify me if u hear from the embassy, i mean , i believe that the next step is the medical forms.... lets pray for it to b quick; i'll b waitin to hear from u soon, with good news inchallah.

I know it is the medical forms BUT when is that going to be? Is it going to be ages as before or in a month time or a year time OR a waiting game!

Am looking forward for a senior member views!
