Advice on visiting Canada with boyfriend

I'm a Canadian citizen living abroad with my boyfriend and our 2 year old daughter, who is also a Canadian citizen. We live in his home country, but I'm concerned that he doesn't have enough ties here.
We live on property that is owned by his parents. He has a job, low paying, that he's been at for 6 months. We are planning a wedding 6 months from now, and have a hall reserved for that date. I have a residence permit here for the next year and our daughter is a dual citizen of Canada and here.

The reason for our visit is for him to meet my family. We plan to visit for 3 weeks but I'm concerned that he will be denied for lack of ties.
Is there anything else we can provide. Also, how much in funds will be enough for them. My family will be covering most of the costs there and he will be paying for travel. Do we need to show that my family have enough funds to support him while we are there?

We plan to apply for a spousal visa a year or 2 from now and will his getting denied affect that too.

Given you are Canadian and he has weak ties to his home country - refusal is quite possible. However give it a shot - you might get lucky.

No - the refusal won't impact a future spousal sponsorship application.

That's very disappointing to hear. I can't even bring him there to meet our family. Is there anything else we can add to the application to make it stronger? And what amount of money Should he have in his bank account as proof of funds? We also have 2 letters of invite from family members. I can't think of anything else to add to all this.

Hi,

1. Apart from reserving the hall, have you applied for a marriage license? Or sent out invites to family/friends? Other bookings?

2. Has your boyfriend traveled to other countries for short visits?

3. Have you booked hotels/plane tickets for your honeymoon?

4. Does your boyfriend have other siblings who also live with his parents? Do his parents depend on him for their well-being?

5. Are you employed in his country? If yes, what evidence can you submit for this?

6. Do you have joint bank accounts, credit cards, etc in his country?

7. Has your family met him earlier in his country? If yes, how long back?

8. Does he volunteer/participate in any charity work/ sports club?

9. Has he enrolled for a study program apart from his employment?

10. Have your family members booked plane tickets to attend your wedding?
