Advice on PR Application

Hey Everyone, my wife and I are looking for some advice on our PR application.

Our Current Status:

2 year working/holiday visa - Visa expires August 30th

The Problem:

When we submitted our Express Entry profile, I did not have a Job as I left 2 weeks before. We submitted our profile and we obtained enough points and have been invited to Apply for PR. We are currently working through this to get it submitted as soon as possible so we can apply for a work permit to stay in Canada while our PR application is being processed.

I have just been offered a new job, which I start next week. I am adding this to my work history in the PR application. My questions are:

Does it matter that this was not in my express entry profile at the time of submitting?
Do I choose yes or no for intended work in Canada, as I will have all ready started working there before submitting the PR application?

Regards to the work permit extension:

Should we be applying for the Open Work permit as my new employer does not currently have an LMIA, or because I am all ready in Canada working, can I apply for a standard work permit without it?

Maybe there is alternative to our working/holiday visa extension, since we are submitting our PR application within the next 2 weeks.

Thanks

No. Your PR application is more or less "locked in" from the date of the ITA - for CEC applications, what happens after does not really matter (as long as you either maintain your status in Canada, or do not overstay). You should add your new position to your work history, but it will not have any impact on your points or eligibility.

Working holiday visas cannot be extended - in some cases, you can apply a second time and get a new one, depending on your cuontry-specific program.

So far, you do not appear to be eligible to apply to extend your work permit - you do not have an LMIA (required for a "regular" work permit), and you are not yet eligible for the Bridging Open Work Permit (BOWP). To be eligible, you need to have submitted your complete application, and it must be reviewed and found complete and eligible for processing, and your existing work permit must still be valid at the time you apply for the BOWP.

I am not certain how long it currently takes to get the AOR from the time you submit your application. But you can search this forum for a lot of information about the BOWP.

EDIT: Even if you don't have the AOR yet, you can still submit your BOWP application as soon as you submit your eAPR.... it won't be processed until your application is put in to processing, but if you submit it before your old work permit expires, you can continue to work on implied status until you receive a reply.
