Hey everyone.
So my wife has a sort of special case:
1. She applied for her SOWP extension on July 2022 after I got my PGWP. When she submitted her application, she stated "No" at the section were it asks if you are going to work on a health-related job.
3. In September we moved to a different city, so she sent a webform with the address change.
3. In October she got a job offer to work at a health-related job, so she took medical exams and sent them through a webform. She was at maintained status at that moment, and her previous work permit didn't have any restriction to work in health-related jobs.
4. She got her WP approved in December but apparently it was mailed to our old address. In January, she mailed a request for "lost work permit document".
5. Just today, she received a notice from IRCC saying they just got their webform regarding her medical exams and that in order to get a work permit without health-related job restrictions, she would have to apply for a new work permit.
So we're assuming that her WP approved in December had a restriction to work in healthcare, but she already is. We didn't know this as we never received the WP approved and December. Requesting a new WP would mean 4-5 more months of waiting, and we're travelling out of Canada for three weeks in April.
Should we try to flagpole and bring all the documents like her medical exams and the approval letter she got in December?
Should we wait until we travel in April and request her new work permit when we return?
Should she stop working in healthcare?
We both have Canadian TRV and USA visitor visas.
