I am now returning to Canada and on this trip I plan on marrying my girlfriend and doing spousal application inland.
When going through the airport and they ask what I am doing in Canada and how long do I plan on staying, do I tell them exactly what my plans are?
Thanks for any advice.

'returning to Canada'?? Explain? What is your nationality?

Don't volunteer information but don't lie. You are coming to visit your girlfriend. You should have a return ticket. If CBSA pushes further, you can say you will be getting married and applying for sponsorship.
