Advice on accepting ITA

Hi all. I created my EE profile in May this year. I am a medical doctor and my employment history at the time was
Medical intern - July 2016 to June 2017
Resident Physician - Sept 2017 to Present .

Under my profile for work history it is listed as two separate jobs but both Same NOC and same Employer.

My original CRS was 453. However it was automatically updated to reflect 3 years work experience and is now 478 and I was issued an ITA this last draw.

At the end of this month I will make 3 years employment in one NOC code under two different job titles but with a two month gap after the first year when they promote us from interns to resident doctors . Can I accept this ITA without problems ?

The reason why I am hesitant is I thought I was only claiming points for my work as my second and current job as a resident doctor which is almost 2 years . But if EE on their own raised my points does that mean I qualify ?

Another reason I am having mild doubt is a similar colleague did theirs in 2017. Her profile was the same as mine then but when she was ITA although she had 1 year intern and 2 years plus resident doctor ( 3 years total same NOC) she as only given the points for 2years work experience ( same points as 1 year work)and not 3 years as I am being given .

I am wondering if the EE has just changed since then and is more accurate .

Sorry for the long post but any advice is greatly appreciated .

I am considering accepting the ITA at the start of Sept when I would have made 3 years employment in this NOC code .

Oh should I decline became the VO can say I only have two years ( counting last job only )

Thanks so much

Wait until the date passes in September when you would hit 3 years then submit your application after that date. Not sure why she was only give 1/2 years work experience. I don’t know much about your noc

sorry not 1/2 year work.. Points for 2 years works.. 1 yr and 2 yr work get the same points.. 3 gets the max.

Will edit it as I see the error.

Thanks for your response.

Should I decline and wait for next ita as I see its just 60 days to submit everything?

Does this do anything negative to chances?

You can decline the ITA. A lot of people do it. But if you decline, you should be sure that your score won’t go down by the time the next draw happens. Like if you have a birthday coming up
