Hey all, I've just spent a considerable amount of time reading the forums here- I must have found them years ago and forgotten about them because my username is now "out of date" I am home! Not just going home I am hopeful someone could lend me some of their expertise.
Here is my situation:
I am Canadian by birth- I was a permanent resident of the USA for nearly 20 years (married to an American), in December I moved home to Canada with my 3 Canadian kids (born in the USA, they have their Canadian citizenship certificates, SIN and health cards). Now it is time to get my American husband in Canada with us. I have been exploring inland and outland PR options, student visa, visitor visa, etc. Ultimate goal would be to have him here as PR-but how we do that is not REALLY important. If he cant work due to a student visa that is okay (I mean, okay-ish, but it is what it is, right?) What method do YOU advise? What is quickest for us to be together in Canada as a family? Thanks in advance for your advice!
