So when we created our account, we added that my wife has an aunt living in Canada.

My wife's aunt has a Canadian passport and her son is living there (got a lease agreement with his name). But the issue is that she went back to United Arab Emirates at the end of last month, and I can't get any proof of her living there other than her Canadian passport, her son's lease agreement, and proof that he is actually her son through the Family book (Jordanian document).

I already got an application to apply to Ontario.

Now the question is as follows:
Shall i update my EE account and remove this information which will result in losing 10 points and will also result in change of my profile information AFTER receiving OOPNP invitation.

OR shall i stick to what I already entered and hope that a Canadian passport and her son't apartment lease agreement is enough to prove that she lives there?

Many Thanks,

Your OOPNP invitation will stay alive only if losing these 10 points doesn't bring you below 400. Even then, you do owe OOPNP an explanation. You can wait for them to ask you for it (in which case it might be construed as misrepresentation) or tell them upfront and let them deal with it.

All the best!

Did she move back for good?

If so, then that would be an issue if you do not explain it in a letter of explanation while submitting your application.

No she didn't move back for good, she went back to be next to her daughter while giving birth, they go to Canada every year and stay there for 5-8 months. I can get copies of the entry/departure dates on her passport.

What I understand is that a relative would add points to the eligibility (67/100) and we are already in the safe zone even if we removed the relative, and it shouldn't affect our 434 points.

But are you positive that it doesn't affect OOPNP invitation?

And if you guys were in my shoes, would you just update the profile and remove the relative in Canada? And send a letter upfront to Ontario explaining that she is on and off Canada not living there for good that is why I removed the relative in Canada section from my EE profile?

I changed important details in my profile even after PT, including changing my IELTS TRF which changed my CRS. PT is still there.

If it doesn't bring your score below 400, it doesn't affect the basis on which you got the PT. But you still owe them an explanation for making this change in your profile even though you did not get points only because this might be a factor in deciding on the PN (and not for the PT).

Yep, I'm moving forward with updating our profile and removing the relative section in Canada. I don't want to have a non-solid information on my profile that may be more of a hassle to prove than to explain removing. And will write up a letter to Ontario explaining the update and why we we did it.

Thanks a lot guys! Wish me luck!!! ;D 8)

Hi,
I am facing the same situation. I have already removed my relative from EE profile as he is not living in Canada currently. I have already got nomination certificate from Alberta. If I remove those 15 points which I received by declaring additional relative in Canada, my score would come down to 408 (before receiving PN), still more than the required cut off 400.
I have already updated this in my EE and ethically, I should inform Alberta also about this, but I am very scared can it lead to revocation of my provincial nomination?
