Advice me please

My work permit had expired by the time I got invited to apply for PR
Is that a bad thing?
So far its says medicals passed, has anyone gone through this, how long after did you get an answer?
I got the letter to bridge my work permit, buts its already expired, and before I got the invitation, id applied and being denied, I dont want to be denied again, help anyone?

You can apply for BOWP only if you have a PR application in process!!

I dont want that im not working, or applying for a new permit to affect the application, but its far expired already too. So I dont know what to do

So Your Wp expired March 2016, then you got ITA in November, and finally submitted in Dec. What was your status from March till November?

So do you have status in Canada at the moment? Did you stop working from March onward when your permit expired?

So I applied to extend my pgwp in december 2015, when the permit expired in march because i wanted to be in top of it right
And I was in the express entry pool at the time, and idnt think itd take long to be picked
My application got denied in August 2016, and then I applied for an extension of status, and the lawyer i got said to extend status as a worker that too was denied.
Coincidentally I was accepted into school in October so I put in a study permit application, just a week before I got invited to apply for pr
Which last week also got denied, sigh
So now Im just waiting and a friend told me about this forum, so I decided to join....And here we are

Ok, then wait until they make a final decision on your PR application. I dont think you would be able to apply for BOWP, maybe someone with more experience will have another say in this!!

Right, well thats some key information.

It doesn't matter that you don't have a current permit as long as you still meet the requirements of the stream you were invited under.

I had same problem like you. My WP was expiring on November 2015 so I applied for extension and they denied on March 2016 then I had 90 days to restore my status and at that time my wife was around 6 to 7 month of pregnant. We had lots pressure and also needs to arrange money for baby to born there were no hope at all. Then we restored our status as a visitor until December 2016 and I also got LMIA on December 2016. We again applied for visitor extension and got until March 2017. Moreover I got ITA on December 2016 and AOR on Jan 2017. I applied for WP from outside Canada but I can not stay here until it is approved so I decided that we apply for one more time for visitor extension please friends needs your response and is there anything wrong?
