Hey guys, hope you are all doing great!

Lately many of us, including me, had made new profiles to either receive PNP nominations or for other reasons. Most of us have rejected the ITA's and managed to enter the pool again. However, some of us are keeping two active profiles in the pool, one with ITA and another without any ITA, hoping to get ITA for the profile with lower CRS scores.

CIC says having two profiles is NOT LEGAL
. I had two and I declined invitation. So currently I don't have any invitation for either express entry or any PNP whatsoever. I have to withdraw one profile so as to give chance to all those who are waiting for the invitations.

PLEASE KEEP ONLY ONE ACTIVE PROFILE IN THE POOL. Make sure to keep the profile updated and transparent BEFORE you receive an ITA. This would ensure not only transparency on your part, but also little modifications or LOE's needed post ITA.

One more thing for those who are declining ITAs. IF you are also removing/withdrawing your profile, PLEASE MAKE SURE TO DEACTIVATE YOUR JOB BANK too.

Once you have declined ITA, withdraw the SECOND profile and DEACTIVATE JOB BANK account, I assume you are in safe waters for the next draw with your eligible profile.

SENIOR MEMBERS PLEASE CORRECT ME IF THERE'S ANYTHING MISSING FROM MY ADVICE

How is this news?

That rule has always been there.

Unfortunately there are people out there who aren't familiar. I just needed this info out there before the draw for those who are knowingly/unknowingly/mistakenly keeping the two profiles active

It's a word of caution to the overambitious people in this forum.

But, in case of couples (married/common law partner), two profiles are allowed. Both the partners can have the profile with them as PA and other as dependent.

In case any of the spouse receives the ITA, the other has to withdraw after that.

Indeed. But the PA can't have two accounts as a PA.

How is your application progressing? I read a thread of 2015, where you stated that you and your partner have two profiles with 441 and 430+ scores. ;D

partners can have separate profiles. both can get ita but but only one can submit.
