Hi,
I am asking this question on behalf of my cousin. She is willing to enroll in a diploma or bachelors programme in subjects like healthcare management, kinesiology, or just a simple bachelors of science (she is a pre med student). We have been looking for options for international students. As for the IELTS, most colleges weve seen need 6.5 the most which she has scored already.
Is it a good option to tell her to pursue bachelors in home country and apply for masters later on in Canada which can strengthen her chances and make it easier to apply for immigration later on. Any suggestions on it? (Not sure but I have heard many people suggesting that)

A college bachelor degree in sciences or healthcare administration doesn’t lead to many good job opportunities. Much better to spend money on a masters in Canada than undergrad.

If she is planning to study bachelors in Canada its better to choose a Program based on Canadian labor market. But bachelor degrees or diplomas are always come with a good cost.
However masters is also a good gateway to Canada but it usually limit your choices as you mostly look for options to ur parent degree and if you switch, then its hard nut to crack to show career progression and relationship with ur parent degree.

If if I have to pass my opinion, I suggest to take up bachelor degree in Canada.

Pursuing bachelors is very expensive here and yes I asked my cousin to choose a program that can later on compliment the masters she will be doing in future. She might do her bachelors from europe for now and later on see what options are available for masters in Canada.
