asking for a friend:

someone i know is stressing out about the fact that they forgot to disclose a visa rejection from France, but they already submitted their app and after 9 months they got ADR for eIMM5669 and new PCC, so the concern is: should they disclose it now on the new request? will that raise a red flag? or no need to disclose it? any advise would be helpful.

Not disclosing it now can be a major issue for your friend later if ircc find out without u disclosing it, your must disclose it and u can write a explanation letter as well

but dont u think disclosing it only now might cause a delay in the process? how will ircc view this? it was an honest mistake and they just noticed it when they were asked to resubmit schedule A so they were going through the old app.

Better to own up now as a mistake, if ircc discovers later, you will have less chance of claiming it was a mistake. If they discover before you disclose, they can decide it was deliberate misrepresentation - which is very bad for you.

Thanks, one last question, should they disclose it in schedule A or should they attach a letter of explanation?
