Hello,
First of some information about our application:
Application sent in October Inland spousal with OWP app, got letter saying they received it on September 7th, Dec 5th sent us request for medical and below.
Few questions
1.
I just received this letter and was wondering why would they be asking for a new police certificate and contact information to be updated.
> Police Certificate: Please provide a new Police Certificate from South Korea. This
police certificate MUST include lapsed records. This must be received at this office by: 2019/01/06
> Fingerprints: Please follow the instructions provided in the separate attachment
of this email to have your fingerprints taken by the RCMP and complete a criminal record
check. This must be received at this office by: 2019/01/06
> Contact Information: Please submit updated contact information (for both yourself and
your spouse/partner) through which you can be reached between the hours of 8:00AM and 5:00PM,
Monday to Friday. Note that contact information includes a telephone number, mailing address,
residential address and e-mail address. This must be received at this office by: 2019/01/06
Please send the requested information / document(s) and all future inquiries with respect to
your application via the Case Specific Enquiry form at the following link:
https://secure.cic.gc.ca/enquiries-renseignements/canada-case-cas-eng.aspx.
I sent in my application in late October and on myCIC account it shows they received it on September 7th.
The police certificate with lapsed records was sent in with the application. The report was created on June 29th
so the six months validity still stands.
Do I send the old one or go through the trouble of obtaining one from Korea?
2.
Contact information update. Can I just send them it all in the message box in the Case Specific Enquiry form ?
When I started the post I thought I had more questions... but that's it for now.
Thank you for reading.
