Iam planning to adopt a close friend daughter to canada. From Zimbabwe she is 18 and will she be able to sponsor her biological parents later.and how do i go about it.

Most likely not possible as the parents are alive. IRCC would seee this as an adoption of convienience for the exact reasons you stated....sponsoring her parents.

This won’t be approved. The child is both 18 and not an orphan. You are just highlighting one of the many reasons why you can only adopt true orphans. Don’t waste you time or money pursuing this. The 18 year old can pursue various other forms of immigration or temporary status in Canada.

Agreed with the advice given by others. You will not be able to sponsor her for PR, even if you adopt her. No point even trying. Refusal is guaranteed.

If she and her parents wish to immigrate to Canada, her parents will need to qualify and apply through one of the economic immigration streams like Express Entry.
