My first post on this forum.
I have selected 2 universities for my masters (Meng) in Chemical Engineering.
U of Calgary
U of Saskatchewan
My profile is
Xth - 78%
XIIth - 81%
B.E(Chemical) - 57%(Yes, its very low and bad due to combination of negligence on my side and bad luck)
2 Internships
Should i even bother applying to the above universities as i find that the cutoff is 70% or does anybody know if anyone got admission despite having a low gpa?
I have selected certain other universities in the US as i feel i have a better chance of gaining admission there as the other parts of my application( GRE,TOEFL,LOR,SOP) are all good, only downside is my gpa which i cant change now.
I also heard that Canadian universites dont give much importance to GRE ,thereby minimizing my chances.
Any info would be helpful guys.
Thanks in advance.
