hi there, can somebody enlighten me regarding the admission process for immigrants arriving for the first time at vancouver international airport. how many hours would that admission process lasts?is three hours enough? thank so much.

Congrats on getting your visa! When do you arrive?

I too am curious to hear anyone's experience at landing at YVR...my husband will hopefully be landing there sometime next year. Would be nice to have info to prepare him for what to expect. If you don't hear from anyone, I hope you post your story after you land. Best of luck!

I landed at Vancouver (it was a couple of years ago now!)
It didn't take long at all (maybe 20 -30 minutes)
I arrived on an early morning flight and I think it was only me that needed to go through immigration, so I didn't have to wait at all to see the agent.
It was very straightforward and easy for me!

My wife landed on a Thursday afternoon and it took about 2 and a half hours to get through. Three hourse might be cutting it close depending on how much traffic there is.

Lot's of waiting in line, but the questions were pretty basic, what address are you going to, verifying some of the info on the COPR. Didn't take long for the questions, just the lineup.
