admission in canada with overall 6.5 but 5.5 in one module

hi,I am Shweta. I have completed my MBA-Finance in 2013 with 80% marks.
next i want to take admission in canada colleges for postgraduate certificate programs like IBM(international Bsns. Mgt) or Financial Planning or Financial services courses.
I have given IELTS exam with overall 6.5 band scores i.e.
Listening- 7.5
Writing-7
Reading-5.5
Speaking-6.5
but the Canada criteria i heard is 6.5 overall with no bands less than 6.

* Is there any chance for me to get admission in canadian colleges with IELTS score or i have to retake IELTS?
*or is there any chanec of visa rejection too in my case?

Please help.. I am confused and worried too.Please suggest me the best.

Sorry, we do not know the precise thoughts of officer at POE neither we know for sure VO officer mind.

Did the university accept you? but even if it accepted VO could reject your visa because of low level of English.

Hi my advice is retake the Ielts, I got the same score in my first try : L:7.5, S:7, W:6, R:5.5 and rer River College did not accept me.

I approve in my second try.

I guess you have 2 options now : -

1 - Give IELTS another try.
2 - Have a word with the college i have heard(not sure) there are scenarios where they give you an offer letter with low IELTS score but all you need to do is take an extra course for English.

Even if any college will accept your application requirements for visa are no less then 6 in any module.

I want to apply in university of alberta for my masters, and my institute( from where i have done my B.E) is listed on English language proficiency exemption list in the website of university of alberta. so i want to ask that still I have to give IELTS test??

Hello i recently gave ielts exam and scored overall 6.5,speaking 7,listening 6.5,reading 6 but writing 5.5.I am confused whether i should retake the exam or i should apply for rechecking as i want to apply for MBA in canada.I have done B.com and have 2 year of work experience also can someone suggest me the university which doesnot require gmat for MBA program .
