Addtl Rqts and Passport (singapore)

Hi. i am facing dilemma right now. I need help.

I received email from CHC on 29/1/2014 and requesting to send addt'l rqts (COC and NBI) and passport within 30 days of the date of on thier message. So means within 30 days is on 28/2/2014 and i need to comply.
For the COC and NBI. I have no problem i can submit to them before the scheduled date.
The only problem is the passport as i am scheduled to travel on 22/2 - 1/3.
So i will be late of 1 day for the submission of the rqts.
i am scared that they may refuse my papers as i did not comply.

My plan is to email them about the scenario i am facing and what are my options (if any) or
if i can handover to them my passport personally.

Any seniors here in SG. Please help.

Are you travelling back to SG? If not, then ask yourself what should be your priority?
