Hi - I'm about to sponsor my husband. I noticed on the "Application to Sponsor and Undertaking" there's a part where you have to fill in your "mailing address" and or "residential address". Now my problem is when I moved to Canada I was living at a specific address for about 1 year 6 months. I've since then moved and has not changed my address. I've been living at my new place for about 1 year. All my information - banking, work (basically my entire existence in Canada has my first address). Do I need to change my address NOW since I'm about to sponsor my husband? or can I state it as my residential address and my old one as my mailing address? and if so will there be a problem where CIC will question why I didn't change my address?

Any help will be appreciated.
Thanks,
Dian.

I suggest that you use as your residential address where you are living now.

Job Offer........
Pre-Assessed..
you should use the address where you live now.... and get it changed on all your other information too since you will need to eventually anyway... unless you are going to move again soon.

if your previous address is a trusted address continue using it as your mailing address. is there a reason why you havent changed your mailing info to your new address? whatever you do, just be honest. and also if they ask why you haven't changed your mailing address, think up the reason now...just so that you won't look lost if they do ask. alot of people have different residence address from mailing address, it's usuaally not a problem. hope this helps.
