Hello,

I am ready to apply for citizenship. I have a question regarding my addresses.

After coming to Canada I have stayed for 6 days in a hotel before I found a rented apartment.

What should I put in the addresses section of my application? Is hotel address acceptable?

Thanks

If you got Canadian citizenship through decent, you don't have to come to Canada to apply citizenship. You can go to any Canadian consulates outside Canada.

I am right now in Canada and stayed physically in Canada for 3 full years. My question is regarding the first time I came to Canada, I stayed in a hotel for a few days then I found an apartment inside Canada where I stayed there with my family for a couple of months. What should I put as an address for the first days during my stay in the hotel?
thanks a lot,

I don't think there is such a thing as "too much information", so make your application as clear as possible.

never put hotel address.

Always put a permanent address of yours or someone you know.
