Address while in vacation?

I had a long (7 months) vacation/family visit in my country of citizenship. I will obviously provide the police certificate, but I'm not sure about the address history.
It is stated that you should not include addresses while on vacation - but since I have been there for 7 months do you suggest to put my parents' address?

A couple weeks hotel address is not needed. A 7 month stay is a different story. You should list it.

If you were residing, working or studying outside Canada, you must list all of your foreign addresses, including the country postal or mailing codes. Press the plus (+) button if you need more space. You don’t need to include addresses of family, friends, hotels or resorts where you stayed while on vacation.

So my permanent address was still my home in Canada, during those 7 months I've just did some travelling within the country (while still working at my canadian company) and spend time with family.

Yep. I totally understand your logic but the idea is to make things easier.
There is absolutely no risk in doing so, and it will make more sense in the mind of the citizenship officer than seeing an address in Canada for someone outside the country for a period that is long enough that some countries would consider you a resident for tax purposes :d
