Address - unit prefix required?

I'm from Singapore and our unit numbers in addresses are often written as #0X-XX instead of Unit #0X-XX. Would my application be returned for the missing "Unit"? Luckily my husband hasn't sent the forms in yet, so I have time to right that if necessary.

Thats a common addressing method used in Canada: '101-1258 Smith Road' is absolutely fine for '1258 Smith Road, Unit 101'
