If your Confirmation of Permanent Residence form shows that you chose city XX as your city of settlement, then at the time of landing, you provide an address (for mailing your PR cards) that is in a totally different province that you hope to move to..would that be an issue? Do the immigration officers at port of entry insist that such an address must be in the city you had chosen as your settlement city??

Dear Friends,
If anybody got any confusion regarding landing Port, for their help I am pasting may email to CHC London and their reply.

My inquiry to CHC London:

Dear Officer,
Thanks a lot for your quick service on visa stamping. As I am landing
on 20 August 2014, so I have following two question on landing in
Canada:

1. Do I need to buy health insurance for my family before landing
2. Can I land Ottawa, Ontario as it mentioned Saskatoon, SK in CORP

It will be appreciated if you please advice me.

Regards,
Ruhul Majumder

CHC London Replied:

Health insurance is your choice and we cannot advise on this.
