Address requirements for student visa

Hi guys, I am desirous of applying for a study permit in 2016 August.
Situation - I am currently staying on rent and my passport has the same address. The problem is the rent contract is coming to an end and I might have to look for another flat in Bombay. Would there be any problem if the address in passport is different from mailing address?
Please help.

No. It's perfectly fine. Just make sure the address you have on your application is the address of your new place. It would be bad if the permit gets mailed to your old residence.
