Address History Confusion

Do i need to include all the hotel stays in my address history? Or there is any thumb rule i.e if i stayed in a place for more than 3 months i only have to include those addresses in history?

Any thoughts please?

Why would you include hotel stays in address history? They weren’t your permanent address by any stretch.

Here is the problem:

I traveled to Canada on July 10 2018 and stayed in hotel for 20 days until i leased a property on Aug 01 2018. Now, while filling out my address history if i skip this hotel stay i will have 20 days gap between the addresses.

I read somewhere that there should not be any gap between dates while filling out the address history. What should i do this case?

Okay that's fair. You can include that address in that case, and an LOE explaining the short stay (this is entirely optional though and the officer would easily be able to determine why)
