address for PR card --UPS questions again? sorry!

Sorry for the trouble, I lost track where we were discussing UPS address issue!

Can I give my hotel address when I cross border from US? Do I need to have reservation? not sure how Immigration Officer will accept hotel address? So it is going to be my room no and then hotel address? please clarify? when I will get UPS address, then I will change this online, it means my and my family's PR cards will be delivered in the US (on UPS address) as I will be coming back to US after 2 days?
Please clarify?

This plan won't work. CIC will not deliver the cards to a US address. You need a Canadian address for the PR card delivery.

They will also NOT deliver at a hotel address. You need a permanent address in Canada. You can give your friend's address if have any in Canada.
