Dear Friends,

New quarterly data is released (Q1 and Q2 untill end of June 2011).
It gives little information for Pre June 2010 applicants. It has no specific information of how many visas issued under MI1(Pre June 2010 applicants) and MI2 (post june 2010 applicants) category.
It has been more than a year since MI2 (Post june 2010) came to existance and lot of visas have been issued under this category yet no specific information for this category.
If they do so then real information about MI1 applicants (Pre June 2010) will come out in public domain so they clubbed the data for MI1 and MI2 to avoid Pre June 2010 applicants irony.

A perfect example of how CIC wants to provide data without being specific so that they can hide information without being responsible and they can get away with public outcry and pressure.

Conservatives have started to show their real intentions.

@ szaman Congratulations Buddy.

@ Dr. Hasib, Sir could you please give me an idea when is it possible that I may get MR according to my timeline?

Hi seniors who got medical request recently.

Please let me know how the family medical forms are dispatched to you. Each family member gets his forms in a separate envelop or the forms of all the members in one envelop.

I have one son currently away from the rest of the family. He is studying in Canada.

My concern that only the designated doctor can open the envelop and in this case my son can not leave his collage and come to our country to make his medical check here.

Please share your experience and advise me what to do.

Best Regards

All medical forms of your family will come inside one envelop to you. You should open the envelop and not the doctor because inside the envelope there is instruction given to you and maybe request for updated forms and police clearance certificates !!
Then you can send by DHL the medical form of your son in his country. He can do the examination there with designated doctor certified by CIC in his country. You must send to your son a copy of the medical instructions paper, which will be inside the envelope together with the form. This will give instruction to the doctor to send the results directly to the address mentioned in the instruction form.

So no problem. It is not required to let him travel to you to just travel to do medicals.
I believe it is better if you do medicals 1-2 days after your son medicals !! or you can ask your designated doctor to advise you which is better to do medical before your son or after.

Regards

First, what does your CAIPS tell you about Medical? Does it say completed?

I believe the security checks conducted by CSIS are not a requirement for some PR applicants in certain situations, while background check is a must.

If you are not required to be screened by CSIS, your status will remain 'not started' - when the criminal is done by the police, you will probably get PPR.

QUOTED FROM ANOTHER FORUM

"There should be some ppl getting PPR by Friday.

in my CAIPS, the status of my medical results is "assessed: no health impairment to prevent admission". So i guess medical part is done.

Thanks for your interpretation. Finger crossed!

In addition, I want to say that my CAIPS confirms the hypothesis which states that a disappearance of address in ECAS implies a update of your file. Personally, I observed a disappearance of address in ECAS around 25th July. And CAIPS indicates my medical received in Ottawa at the same date. Well, at least this rumor works for me..."

Hi Guys,
Today my status changed to Medical results have been received.
I received my RPRF on 12th Sept.
What does this status indicates? how long after this change I should be expecting my PP ?
