Address change request for applicants outside Canada

I am also a September 2009 applicant. My visa office was Buffalo. I sent full application to Buffalo in Dec 2009 and My application has been transferred to NY office in May 25th and Status has changed to In Process" by Jun 16th

We moved to India from Canada and I had request for Change of address when my application was transferred to NY office. I sent a mail to NY Immigration office(NewYork-im-enquiry@international.gc.ca). But i got the below generic reply from them

" Due to volume of applications, we will only respond to request for application status if processing period posted on our website has been exceeded "

What does this reply means ?, Has my address change request excepted or rejected? Seniors please help me out. I am expecting my Medical request soon, please share ur experience .The Client application status still shows my old Canadian address.

this response is sort of generic which is being sent to most of the applicants. your change of address will probably have nothing to do with this resoponse. i am sure that ur reqeust will be processed in due time and you will also be able to see it on ECAS after a while

I will update my status whenever there is change. Hope to receive my Medical request to my Indian Address soon, its almost 3 weeks after the status changed to "IN PROCESS"

Can i raise a Case Specific Enquiry for my Visa office Newyork to know whether my request of address has been accepted or not. Since i am early waiting for Medical request, i am really confused where will the Medicals form land.

Can any tell how long wil the mail(medical forms) take to reach India(chennai) from NewYork if my address is changed?

Its almost 3 weeks after my status has changed to "In Process"

Please give ur valuable suggestions

i guess you better rasie case specific enquiry since ur chg of address is a bit different as you are moved out of country. also copy paste earlier resposne in word doc and attach it for their infroamtion and mention tht i have rasied another enquiry since last response was not clear to me.

I raised Case specific equiry yesterday and still i got the same generic response for the NewYork Consulate
Dont know what to do now, Waiting for Medicals
