Hi,
I have applied for PCC from FBI and Indian Consulate NY. After applying, I have to move to a new address with the same state. My question is how to handle this situation? Can I apply for mail forwarding and will the mail be sent to my new address? Does anyone know how does FBI and Indian Consultate NY send the PCC back to you? Is this by normal post, or registered post, or Fedex/UPS, etc.

Can I use mail forwarding or mail hold (at the post office)? I guess if it is through Fedex/UPS etc. then I can't.

Can anyone with the information please respond to my query?

Thanks,
Gaurav

Hi Gaurav,
I am same situation as you were. I moved to new place and enabled the mail forward. Will my FBI/state police reports forward to new address via USPS? I appreciate if you could guide me on this.

Thanks

I found the following from FBI website.
<< How do I notify the FBI if my address has changed since I submitted my request for my FBI Identification Record or if I want to verify my correct address was submitted?

Please complete the Address Change Request Form (pdf) and mail the signed form to the following address:

FBI CJIS Division – Record Request
1000 Custer Hollow Road
Clarksburg, WV 26306

The form can also be faxed to (304) 625-9792 or scanned and sent via e-mail to liaison@leo.gov.
