can anyone advise if i have to fill up add'l information family form.. I would be sponsord by my husband.. we dont have kids..

Do you mean the IMM 5406 form? Yes, everybody has to fill out that form. The form is also for parents and siblings, not just children. Just cross out the children section and sign where you're supposed to.

For form 5406,

Under Part A does the principal applicant put her mother and father info aswell?

Someone advised me not to fill out the parents info (not on this forum) but the person didn't give a reason

Yes, you should write down ALL relatives of the principal applicant that it asks for on the IMM 5406 form. Parents, spouse/common-law partner, siblings and children. Don't leave out anyone.
