As far as I know medical is a crucial part of visa process, without medical she will be unlikely to travel. Has she got visa to travel?

She has the visitor visa while the PR application is in process. Do you think that will be an issue when she visits Canada for holidays?

Sorry not sure.
My husband was also just asked for sputum test and a 2nd X-ray after 3 months. very worried since he is also not that young. never had any history with TB. he only used to smoke 25 years ago. I feel like it is a refusal at this point but I really hope not. I would really appreciate if there was anyone with the same situation telling mw they finally became PRs

Don't lose hope, keep your hopes high until it's official, you never know.
The most they will put your husband on treatment...that's a norm for most of the Asian countries...

we are not asian. we are europeans and we are already inside of Canada. my husband has never had any issues like this before that's why it is very weird. Have you seen situations where people had to do these tests and still get the pr?

This is standard if you have any irregularities on your chest x-ray. Assume he is likely from Eastern Europe where TB has been present.

We have already 8 years here in Canada. And he has never had issues with his chest before. Even when we have done other xrays no one had mentioned this before. Unless it is an irregularity related to when he used to be a smoker (20 years ago). I really hope this is npt going to be a reason of refusal
