Additional medical tests request comes via email or mail?

Hi All,

Wanted to know if additional medical test request comes via email or via mail( Hard copy Letter). Am asking since my medical is under review and post medicals i updated my mailing address. Still wondering if CIC would have sent some letter for additional tests on my old address. My MR requests has the old address. Please confirm whoever has the knowledge and faced similar situation in the past.

The clinic you went to to do your medicals would've called you. Once they uploaded results to CIC, it's all good.
They call you, before they upload the results, if additional tests are required.

Usually Doctor will call you before if there is any thing concern about

Hi,

Yes my doctor called me for another chest x ray and 2nd report shows completely normal in contradiction to first one. First one reports abnormality in left lung and second one reports completely normal. Both report uploaded to CIC as per the doctor. Now as per CIC guidelines mentioned under www.cic.gc.ca/english/department/partner/pp/pdf/handbook-extract.pdf‎

letter will be issued for additional tests( TB sputum test for chest abnormal radio graph). Doctor told me its 50-50%, this should go just fine OR CIC might seek additional tests. Also, when inquired with CIC they did confirmed over email that my medical results are under review and there will be no eCas update until review will b completed. my eCas is still application received.

This was the reason, i asked about additional tests intimation process to the applicant. One of the applicant( in Australia, applied at CIC Manila) Tel101 has received additional test request via mail(letter).
Please suggest, if anyone has faced similar situation.

I got a letter to my office address that additional medicals are required for my daughter. It says, details have been sent to your eMedical file regarding the medical info required. Can someone help me how can I check what additional tests are required?

Check with the doc/clinic where you/your daughter did the medical test. They might have got the info on the additional test required.

Thank for the info, I sent an email to them. but now the problem is, my daughter went to my home country last week and I might need to do tests with other panel physician. So not sure if any panel doc can see the additional tests required if I provide IME no.

CIC took 100+ days to review and asked additional tests? Bit frustrating though..
Am also in same boat..Meds under review , results uploaded on mar 04th.. waiting!!!

Did your doctor mentioned first time for any abnormality in meds report while sending the reports to CIC. In my case doctor did 2nd chest x ray in span of 2 days to confirm the things..

Yes, this is very frustrating, they might have told me a while ago about this..that too they sent mail to my Employer not to my address.
This is for my Daughter who was under 5 and don't need to go thru any type of tests, So I am not exactly sure what tests they are asking for. Sent email to the Doctor and CIC asking for what tests need to be done...waiting for their reply...
