I have submitted my application as permanent resident under the skilled worker category at my country (Philippines). After almost 5 years the embassy notify me that I have a waived interview and need to undergo a medical examination during that time I am working in Dubai UAE. I go home to fulfill the requirement and after 2 weeks I go back to Dubai UAE to work. But after 2 weeks the embassy notify my wife that an additional medical exam is required (apico lordotic-xray exam), my question are: will the embassy allowed me to do the exam here in Dubai UAE in one of their accredited hospital/clinic or should I go back to my country? If I will not be able to go back to my country due to the factors such as my employer here in Dubai will not allow me to take another vacation, will the embassy put my application "ON HOLD" and will be re-activated as soon as I go back to my country? hope you can enlighten me...

1. Why didn't you do the medical exam in Dubai in the first place?
2. You can only contact Manila and request that you be allowed to do the follow up in Dubai, they may say yes, they may say no.
3. If you don't have the follow-up medical, more than likely Manila will close your application.

I didnt do the medical exam in Dubai primarily because I lodged my application in Phils. and considering that I have received the letter informing me that a list of accredited doctors in Manila, so I filed a short vacation in order for me to accomplished that requirements. But after almost 1 month they contacted me again for another exam (additional).

On the second option: Yes I done that already, I send them a letter informing that I am presently working in Dubai and in order for me to accomplished their requirements I have asked them at least a list of doctors here in Dubai UAE for me to do the test.

I hope on your third option It will never be considered by the embassy, primarily because I have given them an option for me to do the test here in Dubai, and I have been waiting for almost 5 years for my application. Thank you
