Hi Folks

I applied supervisa of my father on 10 march online.I submitted upfront medical already but today again I got email from canada embassy new delhi India asking further medical tests to before reaching decision.

Pls help what is that and why they are asking for this...

Hi

It means that they found something in his medical that requires further testing. He needs to contact the Panel Physician.

My dad was having Tuberclousis 25 years ago but had been treated then and sincw then there is TB now.
Would the history will affect his application?

Yes, that would mean that they need him to undergo further TB testing.

Maybe a 3-month sputum test. Canada takes TB very seriously. Try contacting the clinic, if they haven't contacted you yet.

I got email from cic seeking further medical ,dont knw why.

We've seen some applicants on here who were asked to go through medical furtherance (including TB tests). They were subsequently issued visas after the medical reports were okay.

If your dad has inactive TB then there's nothing to worry about
