70 % of world population will have small traces of TB in lungs, its common for asians, so canadian govt doesnt want to take risk.Just curious to know.. If the TB was negative, what did they ask to follow up for? Like, if you go to follow up, then ask what?
Most of us should have inactive or so called negative TB.
Just to make sure it does'nt become active in future, government suggests a follow up with TB clinic in the respective province, Its our wish whether we want to take treatment or not, they will just do sputum test and blood test to double check. As soon as initial follow up is done, they will send an update to IRCC as medicals passed.
